A winning streak

Sorry for the silence over the past week. Lots of things I want to do...but so little time!! However, I seem to have been on a bit of a winning streak!!

Like many people, I like to enter competitions on facebook, twitter and blogs. I have a had a few wins of things such as a craft pack, a gorgeous Peter Rabbit scarf and book and a few other bits and bobs along the way.

On Monday, my cousin text me to say she had won some tickets to a local children's play centre - and did I fancy going along with Daniel and Emma. We did, and I will write more about that later.

Then, yesterday I received a message from Itsy Bits to say I had won a pair of the brilliant Slugs & Snails tights for Emma via a Facebook competition. I am really pleased about this. Being the proud owner of a few pairs of slugs I know how fab they are. I have a pair ready for Daniel's birthday and a pair for Emma at
Christmas, so I am thrilled to add this new pair in.

I then received another email to say I had won a set of books and a Yumbox. If you haven't seen the yumboxes... then take a look here. They look brilliant and I think they will be a really neat way of me thinking up more imaginative ideas for Daniel's lunches. They cost around £25 I think, and at the moment, with a short break booked and the run up to numerous birthdays and Christmas I couldn't justify the price tag, but I
am thrilled to have won one and it will be with me this week all being well, so keep your eyes peeled for a review of that coming up soon.





So... will my winning streak continue? It's got to be worth a shot on the lottery this week, right?
