The cantaloop arrived in a strange container which I will admit really irritated me, a weird thing to get annoyed by I know, but it did. It seemed like a huge container for a small item.
It wouldn't fit through the letterbox so had I not been in it would have necessitated a trip to the sorting office, which being heavily pregnant and with a 15 month old isn't something I relish doing!
That said, the bra itself is nice. It's not much to look at in that its quite plain and functional, and has four hooks at the back to fasten with, I found doing up all four a bit fiddly and I'm not sure the size I have (medium) really requires four hooks. However, it is amazingly comfortable and I really can see how it can 'grow' to fit the different sizes it says it will.
I was sent the white version, and when I was nursing Daniel I had a couple of white nursing bras in a similar style that, after washing, went bobbly and grey and won't stand up to being used this time around. I'm pleased to say that after being washed three times so far the Cantaloop is as good as new, no bobbling and still looking as white as the day it arrived. The material has also stayed soft.
The other thing I really liked about Cantaloop is the website and size guide.... see here . It made it really clear what size I should order and it is spot on. The material used is also OekoTex certified, which means that are all stages of production the textiles used have been tested for harmful substances. Not a deal breaker I guess for most people buying underwear, but it's good to know that the materials have been approved and that the area my baby is feeding from should be as toxin free as it can be.
I've been so impressed with this nursing bra that I actually ordered a second one, in black which arrived last week. I'm glad to say this was in flat packaging.... you can see the Oekotex certification on the bottom right of the package.
My only criticism would be that, currently, its only available in black and white, some brighter colours would be nice too, but that's only a minor niggle.
